Terms & Conditions - The Basics

1. Nature of Services

  • By using the Platform, the User agrees to these Terms and all related policies.

  • The Platform provides legal services including consultations, contract drafting and review, legal translation, templates, case evaluation, debt collection, and related services.

  • No service constitutes legal representation before courts unless a separate agreement or official authorization is executed in accordance with UAE law.

2. Definitions

  • Key terms include: Platform, User, Client, Lawyer, Legal Consultant, Expert, Legal Translator, Administration, Account, Services, Fees, and Content.

  • All terms shall carry the same meanings as defined in the original Terms and Conditions.

3. Payments and Refund Policy

  • Payments are processed through secure payment gateways, and no payment data is stored by the Platform.

  • A service request is only confirmed once:

    • Full payment is received

    • The Platform approves the request and work begins

  • Payment alone does not guarantee acceptance of the request.

  • Work commencement includes reviewing data, communication, or preparation.

  • Fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • Payment guarantees service provision only and does not guarantee any legal outcome.

🔁 Refunds:

  • Refunds are only issued if the Platform is unable to complete the service due to its own reasons, within up to 30 business days.

4. Client Responsibility

  • The Client is responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information.

  • The Client bears full legal responsibility for submitted data.

  • Services are based entirely on the information provided.

  • The Platform is not liable for consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information.

What Is Included in This T&C 

5. Service Delivery and Timing

  • Services are delivered based on their nature and submitted data.

  • Estimated timelines:

    • Consultations: 24–48 hours

    • Drafting: depends on complexity

  • Timelines are indicative and may vary.

  • The Platform may delay or suspend services if required information is incomplete.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • The Platform does not guarantee any legal, judicial, or administrative outcomes.

  • Services are based on professional judgment only.

  • The Platform is not liable for:

    • Misuse or misinterpretation of services

    • Improper reliance on advice or documents

    • Damages resulting from inaccurate or incomplete Client data

7. Intellectual Property

  • All Platform content is the exclusive property of Mohamed Hawas Legal Consultants FZ-LLC.

  • Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

  • Services and documents may only be used for personal or internal business purposes.

  • Legal action may be taken in case of infringement.

8. Prohibited Use
Users are prohibited from:

  • Providing false or misleading information

  • Uploading harmful or illegal content

  • Copying or extracting Platform content

  • Using the Platform for unlawful purposes

The Platform reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts without notice

  • Deny refunds

  • Take legal action when necessary

9. Lawyers, Consultants, Experts, and Translators

  • Must provide accurate information and valid UAE-issued licenses.

  • Registration is subject to Platform approval.

  • Service providers act independently and are not employees or agents of the Platform.

  • They bear full responsibility for their services.

  • The Platform is not liable for their work or its outcomes.

10. Subscriptions

  • Certain services may require paid subscriptions.

  • Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled in advance.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

  • UAE courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.

  • In case of language conflict, the Arabic version prevails.

12. Communication and Data Processing

  • The User agrees to be contacted via email and WhatsApp for service-related purposes only.

  • Users may opt out at any time.

  • The User consents to data collection and processing in accordance with the Privacy Policy and UAE laws.
